Upwork: Analysis of Freelancer Success Badges: Difference between revisions

High quality freelancers are those freelancers who have top rated plus, top rated and rising talent badges<ref>https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050417233-Top-Rated-Plus https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211068468-Top-Rated https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211063228-Rising-Talent</ref>. These freelancers help maintain the quality of the platform. The more they are, the higher the quality of Upwork platform. According to Upwork, top rated freelancers alone represent 10% of the top freelancers in the platform. That would around [[Upwork: Seniority Level of Freelancers|1,200,000]]. However, the searchable number of high quality freelancers is what matters the most as these are the most active freelancers in the platform. Therefore, we decided to find out the number of these searchable freelancers. Our objective was also to understand where these high quality freelancers are coming from. If they are not concentrated in U.S only, that will be an advantage to the platform during macro weakness as clients can shift hiring to less developed countries where wages is low.
